Preparing for your Session

Congratulations! You have booked a Spiritual Response Therapy Session. This powerful modality works on a soul level to release deep trauma, blocks, and negative programming.

During an SRT session, limiting beliefs and programs established in your conscious and subconscious minds are identified and researched back to the point of origin. These can be programs established last week, last year, in childhood or even in a past life. We'll use a pendulum and a book of channeled charts to bypass your conscious mind and access your soul records to identify and clear accumulated discordant energies. It's kind of like clearing the "hard drive" of your soul. We replace these discordant energies on your "hard drive" with positive programming and life-affirming truths.

Setting an intention

You can prepare for your clearing by thinking about areas in your life you'd like to focus on during the session. This helps set your intention and guides us in researching and clearing the energies and belief patterns that may be inhibiting you from enjoying your life and relationships.

Following are some typical areas you may wish to consider:

  • Life Purpose: feeling lost and blocked to your connection with spirit and your intuitive gifts and abilities.

  • Success: blocks to success, whether it be work, school, parenting, business, etc.

  • Health Concerns: allergies, illnesses, phobias, burnout, depression, anxiety, etc.

  • Finances, Career and Creativity: challenges and negative patterns in the area of prosperity and abundance.

  • Relationships: difficult relationships, poor communication, infidelity, intimacy issues.

  • Addictions: recurring emotional difficulties, negative behaviour patterns, or addictions.

  • Sleep Issues: night terrors, insomnia or sleep anxiety.

  • Transition and Change: life events including marriage, divorce, career changes, relocating, moving or travel.

  • Present Life Crises: negative or limiting issues, dreams, beliefs and blocks to positive physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual expressions of life.

Alternatively, we can complete a general clearing and let Spirit guide us to what needs to be done.

Preparing your space for a virtual session

Before your session, it is helpful to take a few moments to situate yourself in an area that is comfortable and clear of distractions. While it isn’t necessary, you may wish to light a candle, prepare a warm beverage like tea or an herbal infusion, smudge your space, sit in meditation - anything that will help you to relax and prepare your mind, body and spirit for the healing you are about to receive.

What you may expect in your session

Spiritual Response Therapy works on a soul level, however, it is not uncommon for one to feel emotional or physical shifts during a session as we energetically clear layers of trauma, limiting beliefs, and programs. Some clients have reported that they feel energized during a session, while others can become quite sleepy, entering into a deep state of relaxation. You may notice that you feel the need to move, stretch, yawn, or even burp… these are all natural responses to energy being moved in the body. It is important to note that everyone is different, and how they feel during an SRT session will be unique to them.

Recording your session

You are invited to bring a notepad or journal with you so that you can jot down any notes or revelations that may come through during your session. If you would like to record your session, you are invited to do so using your smartphone, digital recorder, WhatsApp, etc.

Please be mindful when listening to any recorded SRT sessions that you do not reactivate the energies that have been cleared. When thinking, talking, or writing about the session it is helpful to remind yourself, “that has been cleared” and affirm where you are at now in your journey.

Post-SRT Session Self Care

Following your SRT session, it is important to allow yourself time to fully integrate the clearing. This may look like taking a long nap, or going for a walk in nature to ground yourself. You may wish to schedule some quiet time or pauses in your schedule over the next few days. Pay attention to any insights, ideas, and thoughts that may appear in your awareness ‘out of nowhere’, and write it down. Feel free to reach out to me with any insights or ‘ah-ha’ moments that you wish to share; I’m here to celebrate your journey!
